What You Will Do
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams, provide procurement updates, and align procurement activities with the financial goals of the project.
- Partner with other regional procurement managers globally to knowledge share and ensure optimization of processes, procedures and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure a competitive advantage in the market, aligning with the business's assurance of supply and operational cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement strategies and processes that are in harmony with organizational goals, engage stakeholders in defining requirements, and foster beneficial supplier relationships to identify opportunities and ongoing transformation.
- Regularly assess supplier performance, ensure compliance with contracts, and address any disputes while optimizing procurement expenditures and enhancing value.
- Ensure success of KES projects by assisting with interpretation of existing laws, rules and regulations.
- Utilize a comprehensive, analytical approach to procurement that includes understanding supplier markets, achieving greater pricing transparency, and focusing on total cost of ownership (TCO) rather than just purchase price.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Ten (10) years of supplier relationship, Supply Chain Management, Engineering related field or Procurement experience.
- English language proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to analyze information and evaluate results
- Ability to identify new opportunities and develop them to the benefit of the company
- Ability to travel as required. (up to 50%)
