Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers to meet organizational requirements.
- Identify risk factors with the currentvendors and find alternatives in case needed.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating terms, and ensuring favorable agreements.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand procurement needs.
- Work within budgetary constraints while ensuring the acquisition of quality goods and services.
- Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Track and monitor orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that procured goods meet specified standards.
- Handle any issues related to the quality of goods or services received.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities.
- Travel within Delhi/NCR and outside Delhi/NCR for meeting with the vendors.
