- KEY AREAS and their RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare inventory reports on daily, weekly & monthly basis
- Analyze stock levels at various channels on daily basis to provide inputs on procurement
- Demand forecasting at SKU level and channel level.
- Prepare LSR (low-stock reports) and OSR (over-stock reports) and raise red flags.
- Analyze procurement spend and devise ways to cut costs.
- Prepare weekly, monthly MIS as required.
- Vendor Management:
- Collect and analyze stock data at vendor for FG, RM, PM etc.
- Devise and monitor optimal stock levels at vendor locations.
- Create vendor scorecards.
- Analyze other vendors for their performance, delivery timeliness and other factors to onboard them
- Coordination with Finance team for inventory accuracy
- Routine coordination with accounting team to ensure the inventory on our accounting books matches with the physical inventory.
- Logistics and delivery operations
- Analyze the logistics data to recommend optimal paths, logistics partners etc. to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.
- Analyze logistics spend data to recommend ways to save costs.
- Data insights to improve On-time delivery and other ways to enhance customer experience
- Analyze regional demand to recommend locations where we need warehouses
- Analyze returns & cancellation data to reduce customer return
- SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Data/numbers-oriented approach
- Well versed at excel/other data analysis tools and Proficient in quantitative & qualitative analysis
- Good understanding of Supply Chain, Operations and Logistics processes and familiarity with terms such as Safety Stock, Demand forecasting.
- Understanding of Accounting principles and ledgers.
- Very organized and Strong verbal & written communication
- Take ownership of work- Follow up and conclude the task that was assigned
