Job Description
Manages the supplier contracting process for the organization's department. Oversees the evaluation and selection of vendors as well as the negotiation of purchase contracts or service level agreements. Has experience in contracting and negotiation in Professional services spend (HR, Marketing, Consultancy).
Reporting to a head of a unit/department. Leads strategic sourcing initiatives and develops strategies to optimize spend.
Guides cross-functional teams throughout strategic sourcing projects to acquire service in a cost effective and timely manner. Responsible for conducting spend analysis, analyzing supply markets, executing competitive RFIs/RFPs and leading supplier negotiations. Supports development and implementation of plans to ensure sourcing benefits are fully realized. Negotiates best deals with vendors and ensures adherence to quality and delivery standard. Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders within the divisions and corporate functions. May facilitate vendor management and/or operational reviews with key suppliers.
Education: Requires a bachelor's degree and experience in the field or a related area.
