A Brief Overview
Within benefits administration, we have built a set of powerful tools to empower both our customers and broker partners to effectively manage group and employee benefits. Our Benefit Operations team consists of seasoned veterans who help make these products work and are responsible for ensuring consistent quality results. They ensure a great client experience by maintaining accurate data and proper functionality by juggling multiple relationships across both our internal product teams and external partnerships. As a supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the benefits administration team, ensuring efficient and accurate management of our Benefits Platform processes. This role involves leading a team responsible for administering US health insurance and is operational across several different areas, including: Quoting, Implementation, FlexBen, COBRA and fulfillment channels like EDI & APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of benefits administration, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of benefits specialists.
Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Provide education and guidance to colleagues on benefits processes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits inquiries for other Internal teams.
Resolve complex benefits-related issues and escalate as necessary.
Oversee the daily operations of the benefits administration team
Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant US Insurance laws
Manage the accuracy and efficiency of enrollments, changes, updates, and termination of benefits.
Maintain relationships with Trinet partners and other benefits vendors.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with vendors regarding client issues.
Generate and analyze reports on platform utilization and performance.
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of benefits processes.
Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Experience Qualifications
Typically 3+ years in a product operations, customer service, or similar role required
Typically 1+ years Previous experience in a Team Lead role is preferred

Solution oriented and proactive approach to tackling issues, with an ability to identify new opportunities, synthesize information quickly, and prioritize effectively to increase efficiency.
