Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Physics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our academic support team. The SME will be responsible for assisting students by clarifying their doubts, providing explanations, and facilitating a deeper understanding of physics concepts. This role requires a strong command of physics, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and helping students succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Doubt Resolution: Address and resolve students questions and doubts related to physics topics through online platforms (chat, video calls, forums).
- Concept Explanation: Provide clear and concise explanations of complex physics concepts in a manner that is easy to understand.
- Resource Development: Create and curate educational resources, such as explanatory videos, notes, and problem sets, to aid in students understanding.
- Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on students work and suggest areas for improvement.
- Engagement: Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to keep students motivated and engaged.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of physics and incorporate new knowledge into teaching practices.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- A Master's or degree in Physics or a closely related field.
Experience:
- Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or providing academic support in physics.
- Demonstrated expertise in various branches of physics (classical mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, etc.).
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Proficiency with online communication tools and educational platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with online teaching or tutoring.
- Familiarity with educational technology and tools.
