Sub-Editor (Morning Shift)

Role Description:

The selected editor's day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Editing the assigned copies.
• Make sure all copies are free of errors and check for grammar and spelling.
• Double-check the facts, dates, and statistics.
• Make sure the cover image is perfect for the story.
• To make sure all copies are engaging, rewrite and edit copies to improve flow and readability.

What we're looking for:

• Someone with copy editing experience (0.5-2 years)
• An excellent sense of grammar, diction, and spelling.
• Familiarity with AP style, pop culture, celebrities, and global news.

Where is this role located

Remote: This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable.

This role would require you to work the early morning shift ( 6 am - 2 pm), six days a week.

Please Note: You will be required to work on the weekends. You will have a mid-week off.

CTC: 2.4 - 5 LPA, depending on the selection process and experience
