Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Stylist at Seller Square. The Stylist will be responsible for creating and curating visually appealing and on-brand styling for product shoots, collaborating with the creative team, and ensuring the overall aesthetic quality of the content produced.
Role Responsibilities for Studio Stylist:
- Fashion Styling:
- Collaborate with the styling team to conceptualise and execute fashion looks for various projects.
- Assist in selecting clothing and accessories to create on-trend and visually appealing outfits.
- Stay updated on current fashion trends and incorporate them into styling concepts to keep the projects fresh and contemporary.
- Product Styling:
- Work closely with photographers and creative teams to style products for e-commerce and other commercial shoots.
- Ensure that products are styled in a way that enhances their visual appeal, highlighting their best features.
- Contribute creative ideas for product styling to align with brand aesthetics and improve marketability.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate effectively with photographers, models, and other team members to ensure the desired aesthetic is achieved.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, offering creative ideas to enhance the visual outcome of each project.
- Maintain open communication with the team to ensure smooth project execution and high-quality results.
- Moodboard Creation:
- Create moodboards to visualise and communicate the creative direction of styling projects.
- Collaborate with the client to align on their creative and brand vision, ensuring it is effectively realised through styling and execution.
- Use mood boards to guide the creative process, ensuring consistency and alignment with the projects goals.
- Learning and Development:
- Seek feedback from senior stylists and industry professionals to continuously improve styling skills and techniques.
- Attend workshops and training sessions to stay informed about industry trends and best practices, ensuring continuous growth in the role.
Qualifications:
- Degree or certification in fashion styling, design, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional styling experience in a studio environment.
- Strong knowledge of current fashion and product styling trends.
- Ability to create mood-boards and align with client brand vision.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and adaptability on set.
- Ability to collaborate with creative teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry best practices.
- Exposure to photography and editing is a plus.
