Job Title: Event Intern - Student Engagement

Role Overview: We're looking for an enthusiastic Event Intern based in Chennai to support our high school event activities as part of the upcoming International High School Tours (India 2025). As an intern, you'll play a key role in bringing Cialfo's mascot-led engagements to life, engaging directly with high school students, and driving participation in our social media contests. Reporting to the Brand Manager, you'll support various onsite tasks, distribute Cialfo swag, and represent our brand with enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Event Execution: Collaborate with the Brand Manager to facilitate mascot-led engagement activities at high school events.
- Mascot Coordination: Learn the mascot's character traits and assist in guiding student interactions to align with Cialfo's brand values and goals.
- Student Engagement: Proactively bring students to the Cialfo desk, encourage them to interact with the mascot, and introduce them to Cialfo's offerings.
- Swag Distribution: Distribute branded items, pamphlets, and other materials to students, creating a lasting impact through thoughtful engagement.
- Social Media Contests: Explain and encourage participation in Cialfo's social media contests, driving student involvement and brand visibility.
- Event Setup and Wrap-Up: Assist with event setup, organizing materials, and helping pack up after the event, contributing to a smooth and efficient experience.
Requirements
- Location-Specific Availability: Must be based in Chennai, January 22 and 23, 2025, and available for day-long events at local high schools.
- Current Student: Enrolled in college or high school, preferably with an interest in marketing, event management, or a related field.
- Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable approaching and engaging with high school students.
- Organizational Skills: Capable of handling multiple tasks, coordinating with the Brand Manager, and distributing materials efficiently.
- Social Media Awareness: Basic knowledge of social media platforms and enthusiasm for promoting Cialfo's contests.
- Dependable & Punctual: A strong sense of responsibility, arriving on time, and upholding Cialfo's brand values throughout the events.
