Job Overview:
As a Student Engagement Specialist for International Recruitment, you will be instrumental in managing telephonic inquiries from prospective students in India who aspire to study in Canada. You'll guide students from their initial inquiry about studying abroad right through to their preparation for departure to Canada, ensuring they're well-informed and ready for their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage both inbound and outbound calls, providing comprehensive information about study programs, and admission processes.
- Actively follow-up on leads to convert inquiries into confirmed applications.
- Keep detailed records of interactions with prospective students and update our CRM system accordingly.
- Support students with application procedures, visa counseling, and pre-departure preparations.
- Collaborate with our international recruitment team to ensure cohesive communication and effective service delivery.
- Participate in training sessions provided by partner institutions to stay current on program offerings.
- Maintain knowledge of up-to-date international education trends.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 1-3 years of experience in the international education sector; prior experience with Canadian educational systems is highly advantageous.
- Strong tele-counselling or customer service background with a proven track record in sales and lead conversion.
- Excellent command of English and proficiency in regional languages such as Gujarati or Punjabi.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to build relationships with prospective students and their families.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
