Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement student development programs that focus on academic, personal, and career growth.
  • Monitor and assess the needs of students and create tailored development plans for individuals or groups.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and support to students to help them overcome academic and personal challenges.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate student development initiatives into the overall curriculum.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and events that promote career readiness and personal growth.
  • Act as a liaison between students and the administration, advocating for student needs and concerns.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of student development programs and make necessary adjustments to ensure success.

Qualifications And Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in student development, counseling, or a similar role in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students and staff.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of career development resources and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and initiative.
