Job Description

Specializing in Student Counseling and Admissions, you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through their academic journey and assisting them in making well-informed decisions regarding their educational and career paths.

Your main responsibilities will revolve around providing personalized counseling, tackling admissions processes, and fostering a career-oriented approach for our students.

Key Responsibilities:


Student Counseling: Establish strong rapport with students to understand their educational goals, strengths, and challenges.
Conduct individual counseling sessions to assess students interests, skills, and aspirations.
Offer academic and career guidance to help students identify suitable courses or programs.
Address students concerns and provide solutions to enhance their overall academic experience.
Keep up-to-date records of counseling sessions and student progress.

Admissions Management: Oversee the admissions process, ensuring a smooth and efficient application procedure for prospective students.
Review and evaluate student applications, academic credentials, and other relevant documents.
Collaborate with relevant departments to communicate admission decisions to applicants.
Address inquiries from prospective students and provide accurate and timely information about the admissions process and requirements.

Career-Oriented Approach: Work closely with students to develop career plans and strategies that align with their academic pursuits.
Conduct workshops and seminars on career development, employability skills, and industry trends.
Facilitate networking opportunities and connections between students and industry professionals.
Stay informed about current job market demands and career opportunities to provide relevant guidance.

Business Development: Collaborate with the marketing and outreach team to promote educational programs and attract potential students.
Participate in outreach events, fairs, and educational exhibitions to enhance brand visibility.
Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the institution's reach and influence.
Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of educational offerings.

Requirements:

  • +2 in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in student counseling, admissions, or career guidance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to tailor counseling strategies to individual needs.
  • Knowledge of educational systems, admission procedures, and career trends.
