Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Student Counselor to provide guidance and support to students in their academic, personal, and professional development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping students achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students
- Help students set and achieve academic, career, and personal goals
- Develop and implement counseling programs and workshops
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Identify and address student concerns, such as mental health, bullying, and social issues
- Maintain accurate records and confidential files
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in student counseling
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations and age groups
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with counseling software and technology
