Student Counsellor

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Counselor to join our team. As an Education Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding students through the process of selecting and applying to study abroad programs, as well as providing ongoing support throughout their study abroad experience.

Responsibilities

Job responsibilities :

• Provide personalized counseling to students on study abroad program options, including academic requirements, financial considerations, and cultural immersion opportunities
• Advise students on the application process for study abroad programs, including preparing application materials, submitting applications, and following up with program providers
• Assist students with securing funding for study abroad programs, including scholarships, grants, and loans
• Organize pre-departure orientation sessions for students, including information on travel, housing, and cultural adaptation
• Provide ongoing support to students throughout their study abroad experience, including troubleshooting issues and facilitating communication with program providers and academic institutions
• Assist with the development and promotion of study abroad programs and initiatives

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counselling or related field
• 1-6 years of experience in the job market context of India
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Familiarity with counselling techniques and best practices
• Experience in conducting workshops and group sessions
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
