PVHardware is looking in India for a Structural Engineer to calculate optimized tracker components for each tender / project. Make calculation reports.

Requirements:
- 5+ years of Structural Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineer / Industrial Engineer specialized in Structural Calculation or similar.
- MTech in Structural Engineering from premier institutes
- Fluent in english (B2/C1)
- Proven experience in solar industries (Preferred)
- Knowledge in using FEM software (such as ConSteel, Abacus, Staad Pro, etc)
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities:
- Structural Design Calculations of Solar PV Single Axis Trackers and Fixed-Tilt structures
- Calculation of loads (dead, live, snow, wind, seismic) according to ASCE 7, EC1, SBC-301, IS875 or any other country specific standard
- Detailed design of structures and components for different loads which the structure / component may be subjected to at site as per AISC 360, EC3, SBC-304, IS800 or any other country specific standard
- Detailed connection designs of welded and bolted connections as per standards
- Prepare finite element models of solar trackers
- Post-processing of the analysis
- Preparing detailed calculation reports and managing subsequent approvals from customers and independent engineers
- Creation of tools to automate bidding tasks
