Merizen is a forward-thinking engineering firm specializing in the structural design of port/maritime structures, coastal infrastructure, and various civil structures. We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals to join our team as Structural Engineers and Senior Structural Engineers at our Ahmedabad office.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out structural design of port/maritime structures and coastal infrastructure.
- Design general civil structures including jetties, trestles, quay walls, buildings, workshops, pavements, roads, and equipment foundations.
- Perform all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis under supervision/guidance of senior team members.
- Ensure compliance with different Indian standard codes and various international codes.
- Utilize engineering software such as StaadPro, Etabs, Autocad, and MS Office for structural design and analysis.
- Apply hands-on experience in both RCC and Steel structures.
Requirements Qualifications
- ME/M.Tech in Structural Engineering with BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Specialization in marine structural engineering is desirable.
Experience
- 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
- Experience in the design of marine structures or bridges is desirable.
- Experience in pile foundation design will be an advantage.
Skills
- Proficiency in structural design software (StaadPro, Etabs, Autocad) and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Inclination for technical excellence, individual judgment, and initiative for enhancement of skills and knowledge.
