Job Summary
A ground-mounted solar installation involves many civilMechanical engineering activities such as Solar panel layout design, Prepare slope analysis, Topographic input study, grading document preparation etc. A Solar CivilMechanical Engineers responsibility is to design and implement robust civil infrastructure that will support the entire electrical infrastructure.
Job Description
- Knowledge of Foundation design.
- Knowledge of IS code, ASCE & Euro codes.
- Knowledge of effect of wind & snow parameters to structure.
- Awareness on both Indian & International standards application to design.
- Preparing final structural design and associated drawings and calculations packages.
- Prepare Bill of Material.
- Design, Estimation and costing of Civil & steel structural works.
- Develop PV structural engineering plans, details, and calculations
- Experience in software like Staad.
- Preferred if experience in renewable energy, ideally utility solar industry.
- Preferred if working with USA-based solar plants.
- Review and design of structure and its foundation, equipment foundation design in solar plant project.
- Prepare grading document for solar panel. Optimum tilt angle calculation
- Design of module mounting structure of solar plant
- Review analysis of Geotechnical report and pile design
- Experience working in excel, Data Analysis
- Knowledge of PVSyst, L-Pile, Staad Pro Excellent analytical skills.
- Experience in working with international teams / customers.
- Flexibility to work in USA time zones.
