Ensure that the final product is an optimized solution i.e., Serviceable, Stable & economical and satisfies owners and design professionals objectives.
GA & Detailed Drawings including consistency between Planning, Design & Drawings
Managing revisions in planning & design/modifications pre / post-construction activities
Solutions to Site issues & during construction issues
Checking design & detailing of Critical items in Shop drawings
Site visit of the projects and check the quality of construction
Inter-Discipline Coordination
Verifying material test Certificates, test reports & acceptance
Independent Engineers (IE) coordination
Prepare in-house preliminary designs with options for feasibility studies & costing
Suggest Alternate structural options (other than suggested by Consultants/EPC contractor)
Prepare and Maintain Weekly and Monthly reports
Prepare and Maintain Planning & Design Action List for each meeting
Prepare and Maintain Chronology reports with respect to revisions and allied changes
Prepare and Maintain Trackers for Correspondence & RFIs, Monitor the flow of information and maintain a record of planning & design related changes/value additions, their impacts and delivery schedules for said changes
Maintain folder integrity in the established format. Document and maintain the Project folder which shall encompass all information, correspondence, drawings etc.
Prepare documents to provide updates as required
Report all activities to the reporting manager to ensure transparency in working
Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in Structural design. Experience in Mall, high rise commercial buildings & Airports preferred.
B.E. Civil Engineering from an institute of repute, recognized institute of UGC
Masters in Structures is preferred and not a requirement.
