We are seeking a Structural Auditor specializing in Rack Audits to join our team on a freelance basis at
Pune location. The position involves on-site inspections and evaluations of industrial and warehouse racking systems to ensure structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Rack System Inspections: Conduct thorough on-site inspections of industrial and warehouse racking systems to assess structural integrity and identify any potential issues.
- Compliance Checks: Evaluate racks for compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, ensuring all structural elements meet required specifications.
Damage Assessment: Identify and document any damage or wear to racking systems, and provide recommendations for repair or replacement.- Load Capacity Analysis: Verify the load capacities of racking systems to ensure they are not exceeded, preventing structural failures.
Reporting: Generate detailed audit reports highlighting inspection findings, compliance issues, and recommended corrective actions.
- Collaboration with Engineers: Work closely with engineering teams to discuss findings and assist in the development of structural solutions.
Client Communication: Communicate clearly with clients regarding audit results, safety concerns, and necessary maintenance or repair actions.AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro
Experience: 1-4 years
of experience in structural auditing, specifically in the context of industrial and warehouse racking systems.- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or a relevant field.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in the use of relevant software tools for structural analysis and reporting.
- Travel Availability: Willingness to travel to various sites for on-site inspections.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify minor issues that could impact rack safety and performance.
