Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Strategy Officer on behalf of our client (a listed company which is a leading player who offers transformative managed office space solutions for entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and large corporations).

Role - Strategy Officer - Founders Office

Location - Pune

Workdays - 6 days (Mon-Sat)

This role provides strategic support to the company's Chairman / Founder in driving the vision and strategy of the organization. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and possess a post-graduate degree, preferably an MBA in Marketing from a reputed business school.

Responsibilities

  • Compiling MIS Reports / Budgets: Gather and consolidate MIS reports and budgets from various Head of Departments to ensure accurate and timely information for decision-making.
  • Presenting MIS Reports: Present the compiled MIS reports of various departments to the Chairman / Founder, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic insights.
  • Communicating Chairman's Vision or Strategy: Act as a liaison between the Chairman / Founder and the Heads of Departments, conveying the Chairman's vision, strategy, and directives effectively.
  • Preparing Budget Variance Report: Analyze budget performance, identify variances, and prepare comprehensive reports for submission to the Chairman/ Founder for review and action.
  • Conducting Review Meetings: Organize and conduct regular review meetings with relevant stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and align efforts with the overall organizational objectives.
  • Preparing Research Reports: Conduct research and analysis as required by the Chairman / Founder for new initiatives, market trends, and potential business opportunities.
  • Analyzing Business Strategies: Prepare insightful reports on the current business strategies, competitive analysis, and market trends to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Measuring Targets: Establish and track monthly, quarterly, and annual targets related to revenue, profitability, cost savings, investments, and operational efficiencies. Report progress and deviations to the Chairman / Founder.
  • Business and Marketing Strategy Development: Utilize expertise in business and marketing strategy development to support the Chairman / Founder in formulating innovative and effective plans.
  • Coordination and Research Experience: In addition to the MIS responsibilities, the candidate should have experience in coordination, research, and business or marketing strategy development.

Qualifications

Post-graduate degree from a reputed business school, preferably full-time MBA / PGDBM.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and information to stakeholders.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Sound understanding of business principles, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and data analysis tools.

Note: This position is different from a Personal Secretary role and does not involve tasks such as calendar management, travel arrangements, or ticketing, which are typically assigned to an Executive Assistant to the Chairman.
