Job Description

TRUGlobal Inc. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Strategy & Operational Director to lead our Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is pivotal in optimizing business operations, driving strategic initiatives, and improving overall performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing business processes, implementing cost-saving initiatives, and enhancing profitability. This position also requires a strategic leader who can align operational execution with our long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Operations Optimization: Lead efforts to enhance operational efficiency by identifying and eliminating inefficiencies in business processes, project delivery, and service offerings.
  • KPI Improvement: Develop, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Financial Performance Management: Oversee financial analysis, budget forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure profitability and cost-effective operations.
  • Profit Margin Optimization: Manage and optimize profit margins for individual projects and service lines by controlling costs and improving delivery effectiveness.
  • Cost Savings Initiatives: Identify and implement initiatives to reduce operational costs without compromising quality or customer satisfaction.
  • Budget Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to project and operational budgets, regularly reviewing financial data and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Project Management & Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end management of projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery, while managing risks and change requests efficiently.
  • Strategic Change Management: Develop and implement strategies to handle change requests in projects, ensuring they align with timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various departments to align operational processes with business goals and provide leadership to operational teams.
  • Employee Performance Management: Drive high performance across teams by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Improvement in operational efficiency and project turnaround time.
  • Achievement of financial targets and profit margin growth.
  • Success in driving cost-saving initiatives and staying within budget adherence.
  • Improvement in project delivery success rate and management of change requests.
  • Enhanced employee performance and overall team productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in business strategy, operations management, financial planning, and project management, in the IT services industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving operational effectiveness, managing KPIs, and leading successful cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, budget management, and forecasting.
  • Strong experience in managing complex, multi-phase projects with a proven record of successful delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills with a focus on performance improvement and team development.
  • Experience handling change requests effectively and managing project scope changes without impacting delivery timelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Process Re-engineering and optimization in a business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis and corporate audits.
  • Familiarity with program management tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with senior executives.
  • Proficient in KPI Monitoring & Tracking with real-time reporting tools.
