Who are we looking for
Our client is a non-profit foundation, led by former senior partners from MBB firms, focused on driving large-scale transformation in the Power sector. The client is working closely with state governments to implement strategic initiatives that align with the broader goals of sustainable development and modernisation in the agriculture and power industry. They are seeking experienced Strategy Consultants to support large-scale transformation projects. By joining this project, consultants will have the opportunity to work closely with government bodies, policymakers, and industry experts to drive meaningful transformation.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current practices, market trends, and relevant government policies within the respective sectors (Agriculture, Power, etc.).
- Identify opportunities for modernization, including the adoption of new technologies, sustainable practices, and process improvements.
- Lead or support the design and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with the transformation goals for the sector.
- Monitor and track progress of ongoing projects, ensuring timely delivery of results that meet the overall project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with government officials, policymakers, and industry experts to build alignment on goals and ensure smooth execution of initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate insights, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders, including government bodies, industry professionals, and community leaders.
- Work with other team members and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met and align with the broader sustainable development goals.
Qualifications:
- 6 to 12 years of experience as a Strategy Consultant, with proven expertise in driving large-scale transformation projects in sectors such as Agriculture or Power.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market trends, government policies, and industry practices.
- Experience in identifying modernization opportunities, including technology adoption and process improvement in relevant sectors.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with government officials, industry leaders, and other high-level stakeholders.
- Proven experience in conducting market analysis, assessing government policies, and contributing to strategic transformation goals.
- Ability to lead workshops, present findings, and communicate actionable recommendations effectively across diverse stakeholders.
Location and Contract Duration: The roles will require consultants to be onsite at Mumbai or Lucknow. This is an initial 6-12 month contract, with potential extensions based on project requirements.
