The Strategic Sourcing Delivery Excellence Team Intake / Triage Role ensures efficient execution of intake requests to Strategic Sourcing Team.The Intake / Triage Role will capture and proactively provide recommendations on how to improve strategies, instructions, processes and systems in support of operating as a World Class procurement organization and ensure operations continue as smoothly as possible year-round. This role will collaborate effectively with business, finance, legal, security and other key stakeholders to build relationships and provide excellent service and support. Collaboration may include interaction with Alight Executives and Senior Leaders.This means a deep knowledge and understanding of team structure, policies and procedures.The Intake / Triage Lead Role will also provide flexible support as needed to support all Delivery Excellence Team roles .

KRAs

  • Promptly review incoming requests and triage additional details as needed to accurately route request. This means interacting with key stakeholders to understand who, what, when, how much etc. to ensure request is complete and ready to route to the appropriate Strategic Sourcing team colleague.
  • Track and follow request progress to ensure timely actions and work with colleagues and leaders as needed to manage workflow.
  • Monitor and periodically report volumes, turn around times, and other key metrics to demonstrate effectiveness and trouble shoot any parts of the process that may need attention or improvement. Identify trends and effectively communicate to Strategic Sourcing Leadership Team.
  • Ensuring quality control: Work closely with stakeholders and team colleagues to ensure that the requests meet the necessary quality standards.
  • Collaboration with internal teams: Frequently work with other departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure that procurement activities align with overall business objectives.
  • Achieve operational efficiency for day-to-day activities and routine purchases.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, purchasing lifecycle, requisition review, and change order processes
  • Demonstrated analytical skills: Ability to analyze information and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills: Being able to negotiate / compromise with stakeholders to meet business needs.
  • Demonstrated communication skills: Clear communication with all stakeholders. Strong written, spoken, and presentation in English language.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen: Understanding of budgets, cost management, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills: Ability to address and resolve issues that may arise with procurement processes or stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and completeness in requests.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking: Ability to develop procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Demonstrated relationship management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated technical skills: Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically collaborate well with team members adaptable flexible collaborate with other workstreams team player and problem solver.
  • Operates independently with little oversight or guidance.

  • These skills are required for the Intake / Triage Role to effectively manage procurement activities and contribute to the overall success of the organizationu2019s supply chain operations.
