As the Strategic Account Manager of you play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic collaborations. Serving as the primary liaison between internal teams and esteemed global publishing partners like Wiley, Taylor and Francis, Brill Publishing, American Physical Society, and others primarily headquartered in Europe and the US, you will lead initiatives to expand and fortify our presence in the market.


Responsibilities


  1. Strategic Partnership Development:
    • Lead the development and nurturing of new and existing key publisher and society accounts.
    • Understand the needs, active and latent, of the client and arrive at the root problem or expected problem. Verbalize that to the DMS Solutions team as an in-depth brief for proposal creation.
    • Liaison with the B2B marketing team to arrive at campaigns that help build EC, EC+ and NC pipeline.
  2. Account Growth Ownership:
    • Take ownership of key accounts, ensuring their continued account growth through renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.
    • Report on impact of key projects delivered to the client and internally to replicate successes across partners.
  3. Client Implementation and Project Planning:
    • Assist clients in the effective implementation of projects and strategic planning.
    • Address customer queries promptly and efficiently, maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  4. Engagement and Collaboration:
    • Demonstrate agility and an adaptable working spirit, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams like Frontline sales, Sales Enablement, Project Management, Delivery, and Finance.
    • Work closely with the leadership team to strategize account growth/pipeline building planning.

Qualifications and Prerequisites


  • Account growth experience of 5-7 years, with 3+ in academia or publishing.
  • Experience with tools like Power BI, PPT, and Excel.
  • Sharp business acumen with a proven problem-solving aptitude.
  • A customer-friendly approach that aligns with our commitment to exceptional client service.
