Job Title: STP Operator

• Location: Dehradun

• Salary: 10,000 - 15,000 per month

• Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain the STP to ensure optimal performance.

Monitor and record operational data, including flow rates, chemical usage, and effluent quality.

Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.

Adjust controls to regulate flow rates, chemical dosages, and other operational parameters.

Conduct basic laboratory tests to assess water quality and adjust processes as necessary.

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

Maintain accurate records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and compliance reports.

Coordinate with the maintenance team for major repairs or overhauls.

Assist in the preparation of reports on plant performance and improvement initiatives.

Respond to emergencies and system alarms in a timely and effective manner.

• Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience in operating a Sewage Treatment Plant, preferably with a capacity of 300 KLD or more.

Basic understanding of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations.

Ability to perform basic laboratory tests for water quality analysis.

Willingness to work in different shifts.
