Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to manage our warehouse operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring that inventory levels are accurately maintained, and that safety and security protocols are adhered to. A background in accounting is required to handle financial documentation and reporting related to inventory.

# Duties and Responsibilities:

Warehouse Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and property to ensure safety and compliance.

Security Measures: Implement necessary measures to protect the warehouse from fire, theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.

Compliance: Adhere to property laws and regulations.

Goods Management: Place and arrange goods in designated areas to facilitate efficient receipt and delivery processes.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records, information, cards, and documents related to stored items.

Quantity Tracking: Record incoming and outgoing quantities of goods.

Inventory Organization: Organize, tabulate, and code materials in the warehouse.

Inventory Management: Perform periodic and continuous inventory checks to ensure accuracy.

Material Storage: Properly store damaged and replaced materials in designated areas.

Responsibility for Stock Levels: Take responsibility for any discrepancies in stock levels.

Goods Coordination: Manage the coordination, storage, and arrangement of goods and shelves.

Supervision: Supervise warehouse workers to ensure efficient operations.

Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive weekly reports on warehouse activities to the warehouse manager.

# Requirements and Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.

Previous experience in warehouse management or a similar role.

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.

Ability to implement security measures and handle inventory accurately.

Effective supervisory and communication skills.

Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
