Job Overview
We are seeking a Store Manager for our Lenskart Academy location in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the academy, managing the staff, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with a reported employee count of 51-200.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize performance.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of eyewear products and industry trends is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Lenskart Academy in Noida, including managing staff, scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Train and develop academy staff in product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques to maximize performance and productivity.
- Implement effective visual merchandising strategies to optimize the presentation of eyewear products and create an appealing shopping environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
- Monitor and analyze sales and performance data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive sales growth.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and coordinate with the central inventory management team to ensure product availability.
- Resolve customer complaints and escalations, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing and promotional initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to provide input for business strategies and decision-making.
