Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly, meets sales targets, and delivers excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve individual and store targets
- Ensure the store is stocked with the right merchandise and inventory levels are maintained
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, and take appropriate action to optimize results
- Ensure all store operations are in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Assist with visual merchandising and store layout to maximize sales potential
- Manage cash handling and banking procedures
- Prepare and submit reports on store performance as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- 2-12 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a similar capacity
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising
- Proficiency in MS Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
