Job Summary:
The Multi-tasking Store Executive is responsible for efficiently handling a variety of tasks related to store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, administrative support and order delivery. The role requires flexibility, the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers, providing information on products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
- Ensure an outstanding shopping experience for every customer.
- Sales & Marketing Activities:
- Assist in executing in-store promotions, events, and campaigns designed to attract and engage customers.
- Implement marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and drive foot traffic to the store.
- Collaborate with the store manager to create and display marketing materials such as posters, banners, and flyers.
- Gather and report customer insights and market trends to help refine marketing strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings and promotions.
- Inventory & Stock Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Conduct regular stock audits to minimize loss and manage stock rotation.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock deliveries.
- Cash Handling & Billing:
- Operate the POS system and handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintain accurate billing records and reconcile daily sales transactions.
- Store Maintenance & Organization:
- Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times.
- Coordinate with staff to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of display areas and stockrooms.
6. Delivery Duties:
o Prepare and pack customer orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.
o Manage and execute deliveries to customers addresses in a timely and courteous manner.
o Maintain accurate delivery records and provide updates to customers regarding their order status.
o Handle any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries promptly and effectively.
- Team Support:
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and customer demands.
- Support in training new staff members on store operations and procedures.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Assist with maintaining sales records, inventory reports, and other store documentation.
- Support the Store Manager in daily operational tasks such as scheduling, performance tracking, and reporting.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on product specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Provide customers with detailed information on product features and benefits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record. (Bike must required)
- Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle physical tasks related to stocking and delivery.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities as needed.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Familiarity with local culture and community is a plus.
Basic knowledge of Kannada is preferred but not required.
