Job Description
Inventory management: Maintaining inventory levels, recording new assets, and checking in and out assets
Store maintenance: Ensuring the store is clean and organized, and maintaining the layout and design of the warehouse
Store operations: Supporting the operations team with project planning and logistics, and reporting on inventory and asset issues
Store staff management: Managing and training store staff
Vendor coordination: Obtaining quotes from vendors, comparing them, and submitting purchase orders to the finance department
Record keeping: Maintaining records of salvageable, unsalvageable, and serviceable items, as well as calibration records for tools and precision instruments
Stock verification: Performing periodic and annual stock verifications
Liaison: Liaising with the purchase department for low and over stock items
Store executives should have strong analytical and communication skills, and be able to work well in a team.
