About This Team
Provide open systems and enterprise Storage Administration and Support functions to ensure customers realize optimum system performance and availability. Experience with enterprise class storage technologies, Experience in Service-Now or similar Ticketing tool and willing to work in 24x7 Operations. Automation knowledge is a plus.
What You Will Be Doing
- Data migration, storage allocation, connectivity, and storage reporting requests
- Create, remove, and expand file systems and volumes
- Provides SAN switch / director monitoring, configuration, and support
- Works with senior peers to develop change management procedures
- Creates and maintains documentation
- Creates investment proposals and presents concepts during team meetings
- Provides assistance with system solution design
- This opening requires to be working in Fixed Shifts, flexible with 24/7 Environment
- Other related duties assigned as needed
What You Bring
- Effective fluent communication and team skills with an ability to cooperate present to and participate with peers/team members
- Advanced knowledge of storage arrays, SAN fabrics, and Virtualization
- DELL EMC, PURE, HPE 3PAR, Cisco/Brocade Fabric as Primary skillset
- IBM SVC, XIV, EMC VPLEX, Virtualization products as Secondary skillset
- Basic knowledge of operating systems and systems administration concepts Windows, Unix, Linux, and VMWare systems
- Knowledge and experience with data replication concepts and tools
- Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and technologies as well as a personal commitment to stay current with latest technology concepts
- Good problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
