### Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager (Stock) will oversee the storage, handling, and inventory management of rice and wheat stock in the godown. This role includes ensuring the efficient and safe storage of commodities, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting the warehouse operations to ensure smooth distribution.

### Key Responsibilities:
1. **Inventory Management:**
- Monitor and manage the inventory of rice and wheat stocks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

2. **Stock Handling:**
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of rice and wheat.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage techniques to prevent spoilage and damage.
- Implement first-in, first-out (FIFO) inventory management practices.

3. **Quality Control:**
- Inspect incoming and outgoing stock for quality and compliance with standards.
- Identify and report any quality issues or infestations promptly.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams for regular checks.

4. **Warehouse Operations:**
- Supervise and train warehouse staff on proper stock handling and safety procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the godown.
- Maintain and monitor stock handling equipment and ensure their proper use.

5. **Documentation and Reporting:**
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all stock movements.
- Generate regular inventory and activity reports for management.

- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.

7. **Coordination:**
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely stock replenishment and dispatch.
- Liaise with suppliers and transporters to ensure smooth operations.

### Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse management or inventory control, preferably with agricultural commodities.
