Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock In charge to oversee our inventory management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment, and coordinating with various departments to optimize inventory control. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that we have the right products available at the right time to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using [inventory management software].
- Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory counts.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Manage stock locations and organization within the warehouse to maximize efficiency.
Procurement Coordination:
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to optimize costs.
- Ensure all received goods meet quality standards and specifications.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management.
- Forecast future inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonal demands.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the sales and operations teams to understand inventory needs.
- Coordinate with the finance department for budget management and cost analysis.
- Train and supervise junior staff involved in inventory processes.
Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Identify and resolve issues related to inventory management.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the stock management system.
Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, B.Com or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related roles.
