About the Role:
The Startup School Program Director is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of our Startup School program. You will play a key role in shaping the curriculum, recruiting and managing faculty, overseeing logistics, and ensuring an enriching learning experience for aspiring entrepreneurs. As a passionate advocate for the startup ecosystem,you will be instrumental in empowering founders with the knowledge and skills they need to launch and grow successful ventures.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
Collaborate with industry experts and educators to develop a comprehensive and up-to-date curriculum covering all aspects of starting and growing a startup.
Identify industry trends and ensure the curriculum reflects the latest advancements and best practices.
Tailor the curriculum to the specific needs and goals of your target audience.
Develop learning objectives, session outlines, and course materials for each module.
Faculty Management:
Recruit a diverse and experienced faculty of entrepreneurs, investors, and industry professionals.
Onboard faculty members, provide clear expectations, and ensure effective delivery of sessions.
Coordinate with faculty to ensure a smooth learning experience for participants.
Program Logistics:
Oversee the logistical aspects of the program, including venue selection, equipment rental, and technology needs.
Manage program budget and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential participants.
Coordinate with guest speakers and mentor matching programs (if applicable).
Program Evaluation & Improvement:
Gather feedback from participants and faculty to assess the effectiveness of the program.
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future iterations of the program.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices for entrepreneurship education.
Building Relationships:
Network with key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem, including investors, incubators, and accelerators.
Foster relationships with alumni to build a strong and supportive community.
Promote the Startup School program and its alumni to potential investors and partners.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience in entrepreneurship education, program management, or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful educational programs.
Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and current trends.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Passion for entrepreneurship and a desire to empower aspiring founders.
A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is a plus.
