Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing/launching software products.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

  • Support a high-performing engineering culture.
  • Define the idea, architecture design, content strategy, prototype, launch and scale, and consumer facing product features.
  • As a Staff SWE in BLR for Discover, you are part of senior eng leadership group which is responsible for fostering a high performing eng culture and raise the bar of engineering excellence.
  • As part of this role you will be responsible to define the vision, architecture design, content strategy, prototype, launch and scale, consumer facing product features, especially focusing on chrome mobile.
