Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing/launching software products.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

Support a high-performing engineering culture.
Define the idea, architecture design, content strategy, prototype, launch and scale, and consumer facing product features.
As a Staff SWE in BLR for Discover, you are part of senior eng leadership group which is responsible for fostering a high performing eng culture and raise the bar of engineering excellence.
As part of this role you will be responsible to define the vision, architecture design, content strategy, prototype, launch and scale, consumer facing product features, especially focusing on chrome mobile.
