Staff Software Engineer Devops

We are looking for a DevOps engineer who can act as an individual contributor role and who has keen interest in learning new technologies and bringing in more innovation and standardization in the DevOps process

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering with 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience automating builds and deployments
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and tools such as PowerShell, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy
• Experience supporting and developing enterprise software that exceeds the industry standards for security, accessibility and user experience
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment and attitude to focus on team specific goals and objectives
• Ability to drive results through your job competencies of delivery pipeline management, software testing and strategic alignment
• Ability to drive results through NAVEX core competencies of accountability, customer focus, drives results and instills trust

Primary skills required:

1. System administration : Linux and Windows OS, VM Management, Concepts of subnetting and Network stack, experience working on On-prem Datacenter.

2. Scripting Experience : candidate must have a scripting experience, Shell/ Powershell

3. CI/CD: Pipeline setup ( Prefered is TeamCity/Octopus Deploy/Jenkins ), Must have a intuitive mindset towards automation.

4. Development & Testing tools: Visual studio, Maven, Junit, Xunit, DotCover etc.

5. Security tools : Must have good understanding on Application Security tools (SonarQube/CheckMarx), Quality gates, Vulnerability checks.

6. Logging and monitoring tools: CloudWatch, ELK, NewRelic, etc.

7. Source Code Management : Git, GitHub, CodeCommit.

8. Cloud service : AWS and Azure ( Must have good understanding on various services such as EC2,VPC,Lamda,Cloudformation,Code pipeline, SSM, etc.) (Preferred Azure experience)

9. Containerization tools : Docker and K8s.

10. Other tools : Must have Terraform scripting experience, Ansible/Puppet as Configuration management tools
