Position description: Indepth understanding of fundamentals of chemistry and oleochemistry. In depth knowelege about the down stream processing skills like solvent extraction, distillation, crystallization and column chromatography. Develop strategies for carrying out the desired experimental plan. Expert of using specific equipment and advanced knowledge of experimental, alytical and interpretation methods. Ability to writes technical reports. Acts as a team leader with responsibility to achieve the targeted results with in given timeline. Knowledgeable about the cost implications of the operations during the execution. Aligns to team culture & objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Indepth understanding of costs associated with the operations and strive for achieving the lowest cost project. Ability to scaleup lab scale process.
• Knowledge of design of experiments DOE. Ability to interpret the results and derive action plan for the progress of project.
• Supervise and observe the safety while working in lab and pilot plant. Be a good team leader and a member.
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Procurement of chemicals and equipment required for the project.
• Proper use and maintence of the equipment in laboratory.
• Responsibility of general house keeping and safety.
