Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care & Assessment
    • Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document patient health status.
    • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and physician recommendations.
    • Respond promptly to patient calls and address comfort, hygiene, and mobility needs.
  • Medication Administration & Treatment
    • Safely administer medications and treatments following prescribed guidelines.
    • Monitor patient responses to medications, observing any side effects or adverse reactions.
    • Prepare patients for medical procedures and assist physicians or other healthcare professionals during treatments.
  • Patient Education & Family Support
    • Provide education on health management, medication schedules, post-discharge care, and preventive healthcare practices.
    • Support patients and families by addressing their questions, concerns, and care expectations.
    • Facilitate effective communication between the patient, family members, and the healthcare team.
  • Documentation & Reporting
    • Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and changes in condition.
    • Report patient progress and any urgent concerns to the supervising healthcare providers.
    • Ensure patient records are maintained according to hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Adhere to infection control practices and ensure a sterile and safe environment.
    • Comply with hospital policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all nursing duties.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.
