Description
We are seeking an experienced STAFF NURSE (Operating Theatre) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in the job market context of India. The Staff Nurse OT will be responsible for providing quality care to patients before, during, and after surgery, and must have a strong understanding of surgical procedures and techniques.
Responsibilities
- Assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
- Preparing patients for surgery by performing pre-operative assessments
- Monitoring patients during surgery and ensuring their safety
- Administering medications and fluids as directed by the surgeon or anesthesiologist
- Assisting with post-operative care, including wound care, medication administration, and monitoring vital signs
- Documenting patient care and keeping accurate records
- Maintaining a clean and sterile environment in the operating room
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
- Valid nursing license in the state of practice
- 5-10 years of experience as a Staff Nurse OT in the job market context of India
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and techniques
- Experience in pre-operative and post-operative care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
