Description
We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our Maternity team. The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of experience in the Indian job market and will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum periods.
Responsibilities
- Provide antenatal care and assist in the delivery of babies
- Monitor the health of mother and baby during the postpartum period
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and surgery
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in maternity care and nursing practices
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Valid nursing license from the Indian Nursing Council
- 5-15 years of experience in a maternity ward or obstetric unit
- Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare technology
