Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse for our Labour & Delivery department. The ideal candidate should have at least 5-15 years of experience in a hospital setting, specifically in labour and delivery. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the department.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring the health of mother and baby during labour and delivery
- Providing emotional support and advice to patients and their families
- Administering medications and performing medical procedures as necessary
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate care as needed
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) from an accredited institution
- Valid Nursing License from the Indian Nursing Council (INC)
- Minimum 5-15 years of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in labour and delivery
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of labour and delivery procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be part of an on-call rotation
- Knowledge of medical software and computer skills
