Staff Nurse - Day Duty
Overview
The Staff Nurse - Day Duty plays a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients during the day shift at our Panvel location. They are responsible for ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health and develop nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Participate in patient care conferences and staff meetings
- Assist in emergency medical procedures as needed
- Keep accurate records and documentation
- Conduct patient discharge planning and follow-up
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Participate in professional development and training activities
- Promote a culture of patient-centered care and empathy

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maharashtra
- Proven experience as a staff nurse in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifications
- Understanding of patient safety and infection control principles
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
