As a Machine Learning Scientist, you will work on various AI/ML applications such as entity resolution, consumer profiling, merchant classification, and more, to generate significant business impact across multiple domains. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers and fellow ML scientists.
Your day to day
As a Machine Learning Scientist you will be responsible for:
- Work with partners across the enterprise to release product enhancements and new features
- Build large scale (all PayPal transaction or logins!) end-to-end data products in close collaboration with our engineering partners
- Transform large amounts of complex data into business insights and solutions by using the latest technology in AI/ML
What do you need to bring-
- Data Science/Machine Learning engineering experience - must
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML and Data Science
- Masters, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, etc.)
- Code writing capabilities in any programming language (preferably Python) and familiarity with relevant ML packages
- Experience with deep learning
- GCP and big data experience
- Experience working with graph algorithms, text and GenAI - an advantage
- Team player, responsible, delivery-oriented, details-oriented
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
