Responsibilities & Skills
Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Staff CAD Engineer to join the EDA/CAD team focused on EDA methodologies and administration. This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn and grow.
Accountabilities
Be technically proficient in one or more of the following areas:
Must Have Skills
- Multisite EDA tools/licenses administration and automation around it.
- Hands on experience in building EDA methodologies and flows (RTL to GDSII)
- layout design automation, Analog layout design, PDK development, Spice simulations.
- RTL quality checks (lint, CDC, DFT, Power etc).
- RTL verification checks (various coverages, simulations and regressions).
- Hands on experience on various EDA tools (like Genus, Innovus, Virtuoso, Tempus, Spyglass) or equivalent tools.
- TCL and shell scripting proficiency.
Nice To Have Skills
- LSF administration/usage exposure.
- Public multi-cloud and private cloud administration.
- LSF functionality understanding.
- HW revision control and release tool management understanding.
- Innovate around GenAI applications and productivity automation.
- Adopt best-in-class methodologies and improve Lattice's capabilities where needed.
- Develop strong relationships with worldwide teams.
- Mentor and develop strong partners, colleagues, and employees.
- Occasional travel as needed.
Required Skills
- BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer systems degree, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of overall experience in infrastructure with 7+ years of specific technical experience.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages like TCL, Perl, or Python.
- Independent worker with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work with multiple groups across different sites and time zones.
