Description And Requirements
Are you ready to join a leading UEFI firmware development team in Bangalore, India, and contribute to creating the world's top servers Lenovo ISG is seeking UEFI engineers for next generation server products. You will work closely with internal teams and be responsible for all UEFI/BIOS related works during the planning, development, and validation phases of the server product development. Responsibilities (but not limited as list):
- Responsible for x86 and ARM server UEFI/BIOS development, including feature development and bug fixing.
- Working with internal team to design new product features into next generation.
- Working with internal team and end-customers to understand customer's requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
- Expertise with Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, including processor and chipsets.
- 2+ years experience in BIOS/UEFI development.
- Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preference.
- Good understanding of UEFI architecture and EDK. Strong C coding skills and experience.
- Good knowledge of industry standards, such as BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI and etc.
- Experience with Intel ITP or other HW tools to debug complex system firmware issues.
- Well organized, with good written and oral communication skills in English.
