Job Role & Responsibilities:
o Handle financial tasks such as finalizing books, preparing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and maintaining Balance Sheets (B/S).
o Monitoring the efficiency of existing accounting procedures and ensuring they comply with government regulations.
o Reviewing financial documents to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities.
o Preparing and analyzing financial statements like cash flow statement, balance sheet, and profit and loss statements.
o Compute taxes and get them deposited before the due dates and prepare tax returns like GST and TDS returns.
o Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
o Processing the payroll of the Indian Staff and the US Staff and ensure timely tax compliance.
o Handle financial tasks such as finalizing books, preparing Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and maintaining Balance Sheets (B/S).
o Ensure compliance with Indian and US accounting standards.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
Education and Experience:
o Hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
o Possess at least 5 years of experience in Finance and Accounting.
o A Postgraduate degree or Chartered Accountant (Intermediate) qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidate Specifications:
o Excellent written and communication skills.
o Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
o Advanced MS Excel skills including V lookups and pivot tables.
o Experience with general ledger functions.
o Ability to manage various financial aspects, including taxation.
o Detail-oriented and capable of handling diverse accounting functions.
o Proven experience in finalizing financial statements and managing books.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Flexibility to adapt to the US Time Zone.
o Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally and QuickBooks.
o Prefer candidates with experience in direct dealings with clients.
o Prior experience in a service-oriented accounting firm managing multiple clients will be advantageous.
o Experience in the healthcare industry, particularly working with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), is an added advantage.
o Demonstrate excellent analytical skills, especially in preparing Financial Dashboards.
