Background on the Team

The Client Reporting and Entitlements Services (CRES) team is responsible for ensuring that all documents are received, accounts, reports and entitlements are set up prior to the client's scheduled launch date. They further liaise with other downstream stream team to ensure they acknowledge and make the appropriate action when a new client account is opened.

The team's responsibilities also include maintaining referential data throughout the life-cycle of the relationship up to and including account closure - ensuring entitlements and relationships are inactivated, contacts are removed, and reports are deleted. The Global CRES team is structured into distinct functional groups aligned with complexity Data Creation and Data Maintenance. Team manages the Data Creation work stream and are responsible for oversight of multiple functions for a client launch. This structure continues to leverage functional experts however model promotes a better client service experience for the business.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Opening and linking of accounts on Prime Brokerage system.
  • Setting up of accounts on Portfolio accounting system and setting up Client reporting.
  • Setting up of accounts for 3rd Party reporting based on documentation.
  • Requesting of Secure Id's for Client and 3rd Party users.
  • Quality checking the creation and maintenance of client accounts.
  • Quality checking the creation and maintenance of client access.
  • Risk management through the daily review of priority clients, adhering to benchmarks and Service Level Agreements.
  • Escalate potential issues to the team leader.
  • Recommend opportunities to increase efficiency / productivity through analysing resource and system usage, and identifying processing weaknesses
  • Support the team manager in rolling out new initiatives and developments within the team

Skills required

  • Education: Industry qualifications i.e. Securities Institute or Bachelors Degree & Tech Savvy
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize time accordingly
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, client service oriented
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to the needs of the team as they arise
  • Strong Microsoft office skills, specifically Microsoft Excel (vlookup, pivot tables)
  • Client reference data, or client documentation skills a plus
  • College/University degree or equivalent with a business focus and relevant/proven experience

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of global markets / market regulations is beneficial, although not a necessity
