Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team at M Studios. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of our clients. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical skill set, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Edit video footage to tell concise, visually pleasing stories that align with the client's vision and objectives.
- Collaborate with videographers and creative-directors to understand project requirements and deliver finished projects on time.
Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance footage.- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final video product.
Review and edit raw footage to ensure a high-quality product.
- Experiment with styles and techniques including the design of graphic elements.
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role in a video production company.- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, pacing, and continuity.
Creative mind and storytelling skills.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
