As a Sr. UX Designer & Researcher at OLX , you will be a part of the Product & User Experience Design team that is building the next generation of the best mobile and web experiences for OLX markets .
What You'll be doing :
- User Research & Insights
- Lead and conduct user research initiatives, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field studies to uncover deep insights into user behavior, motivations, and pain points.
- Synthesize and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders, influencing product strategy and advocating for user-centered approaches across the organization.
2.UX & UI Design Leadership
- Design and prototype high-quality user interfaces and experiences that align with both user needs and business goals, focusing on intuitive interactions and visual appeal.
- Lead the development of user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and pixel-perfect mockups, ensuring consistency and adherence to a cohesive design system.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and data teams to bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring design feasibility and alignment with technical constraints.
3.Mentorship & Cross-functional Collaboration
- Mentor and guide designers, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
- Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams, driving alignment on design and user research objectives.
4.Design Systems & Standards
- Play a key role in building and maintaining a robust design system, ensuring consistency and scalability across all product interfaces.
- Develop and enforce design standards, patterns, and UI components that improve usability, accessibility, and visual consistency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new design tools, and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas and best practices to the team.
Who We are looking for :
- 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design and user research, with a portfolio demonstrating impactful projects in user-centered design and research.
- Extensive experience in both conducting and leading user research, from planning and execution to analysis and presentation.
- Advanced proficiency in design and prototyping tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and research tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize research insights into actionable design solutions and strategies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an agile environment, comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative development cycles.
- Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS) and the ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams.
- Experience building or contributing to design systems and establishing UI standards across large teams or products.
