Software Engineering
Perform fresh installations, patching, and system hardening on platforms such as Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, RedHat Linux, CentOS, and Ubuntu.
Develop and maintain Unix, Perl, and Python scripts to support automation and system management.
Manage middleware technologies, including IBM WebSphere, Oracle WebLogic, RedHat Openshift, JBOSS, and open-source tools like Apache Tomcat and Kafka.
Install, configure, and harden IBM security software (Verify Access Manager, LDAP, BigFix).
Support open-source tools and platforms like Kibana, Elasticsearch, Spark Clusters, and Kubernetes.
Provide L3-level support for diagnosing and resolving critical system issues.
Collaborate with an 8-member team to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 6-7 years of hands-on experience in Unix system engineering without career gaps.
Strong experience in Oracle Solaris, IBM AIX, and RedHat Linux platforms.
Expertise in Unix and Python scripting.
Proven track record of working on banking projects.
Familiarity with IBM hardware clustering, IBM WebSphere, and middleware technologies.
Experience with open-source platforms and tools like Apache Tomcat, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Ability to diagnose critical issues and work independently to plan and resolve them.
